Stunning Larisa | A Halfpenny London Bride

“It was love at first sight. It was exactly how I imagine my perfect dress would be. When I tried the Dahlia dress on, it took my breath away.”
Beautiful bride Larisa and new husband Matthew tied the knot with an intimate and romantic gathering with their friends and family, celebrating their new chapter on the grounds of a charming Tudor manor house.
Before visiting us in our Woburn Walk boutique, Larisa hadn’t found a dress that aligned with her vision for her special day. When she came across our Dahlia dress, however, she fell in love. Blending traditional elements with contemporary touches, the Dahlia was perfect for Larisa, who dreamt of a classic and elegant wedding.
“It was love at first sight,” Larisa said. “I have been following and admiring Halfpenny’s work for quite some time even before I got engaged. When I saw the Dahlia dress for the first time, I fell in love. It was exactly how I imagine my perfect dress would be. I did try on other dresses which were beautiful, but I knew I had my heart set on the Dahlia dress and was hoping that it would look good on me. When I tried it on, it took my breath away.”

Larisa paired the Dahlia dress with our Ariel bow belt, adding a touch of playfulness to the elegant gown. She also wore a floor length veil, and completed the look with some Lily & Roo jewellery.
Reminiscing on her search for her dream look, Larisa’s shared some advice to future brides:
“Be open minded about different style of dresses if you were not sure what you would like. Some dresses will really surprise you! Choose the dress that makes you feel the best version of yourself, and represent your personality and who you are.”
